We are working with Public service works to devise creative ways to enhance service delivery and create positive engagement. We are:

1. Running resilience building and Optimism participatory workshops based on the 'Best Possible Self' intervention (Lyubomirsky, S. 2007)

2. Using other creative approaches to engage young people to find out what supporting a 'normal' life might look like

3. Devising and delivering socially connecting projects co - producing an online game with Small House to enable those who may be socially isolated, connect, share and make friends

4. Developing Excellence through creative a business mentoring scheme.

This project aims to develop and enhance Marie Curie Cancer Care’s knowledge of palliative care and end of life care needs of young people with life limiting illnesses (and their families/carers), focusing on their transition from children’s to adult services. It will inform the charity’s service development plans for 2011-2012. The project will also explore the potential for developing a strategy to meet information needs and to provide a platform for young people to express themselves.
